In 2010, Paul received his Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy and became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). He currently assists in the instruction of the post-graduate diploma program of manual physiotherapy organized by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is a mentor for physiotherapists enrolled in the program.
Paul has experience working with both the weekend warrior and elite athlete alike. He uses a variety of techniques including joint mobilization/manipulation, core stabilization and exercise programs, neural tissue mobilization, postural taping, myofascial release, acupuncture and IMS to help his clients reach their full potential. Paul is an avid athlete himself and plays volleyball and hockey all year round. His other career as a full-time father also keeps him busy chasing after his young daughter and son.
Simon Janik, PT
In 2014, Simon graduated from Western University with a Master’s in Physical Therapy. He has taken additional courses in acupuncture, vestibular rehab, and concussion management. He is currently pursuing his FCAMPT designation, having currently completed his level 3 courses.Simon has experience working with people of all ages, from athletes to geriatrics. He has a special interest working with athletes, having been a previous NCAA division 1 tennis player himself. He blends a unique style of manual therapy with joint mobilizations/manipulations, rehabilitative exercises, neural and myofascial mobilizations to help clients recover from their injuries.He has a strong belief in health promotion and exercise. He implements this by empowering his patients through specific exercises to optimize their recovery and manage their condition to prevent re-injury. In his spare time, Simon enjoys playing sports, including tennis and golf, and training for marathons.
Gabriel Ho, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Gabriel is a graduate of the Royal Canadian College of Massage, McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, and McMaster Advanced Neurofunctional Sports Performance Programs and a member of the College of Massage Therapists.
As an instructor for the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture course, and developer of the Contemporary Suction Cup Therapy course, he is involved with the development of the next generation of practitioners. He is passionate about helping people along their healing journey.
Gabriel’s treatments focus on identifying and correcting the underlying causes of dysfunction. He uses what he has learned in his education, experience, and study travels across China, combining traditional Eastern therapies with scientifically proven Western therapies to determine the best possible course of treatment.
His treatments include: acupuncture, cupping, massage and myofascial release techniques. Gabriel is a life long learner and continuously adds treatment techniques to his toolbox.
Since no one can know your body more than you, patient interaction and participation is essential to a more effective treatment.
Gabriel loves helping patients return to the activities that they love to do with greater effectiveness and without pain.
Juny began her journey at McMaster University by completing an Honors Science in Kinesiology Degree (2009) followed by a Masters in Physical Therapy from Western University (2011). She has been an executive of the Acupuncture Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association since 2015.
Juny has a passion for blending Eastern philosophy and techniques with Western evidenced-based approaches in the treatment and management of acute and chronic pain. She has attained advanced certification in neuroanatomical acupuncture and will complete the Herbal and Acupuncture program at the Canadian College of Traditional Chinese medicine in 2021. She is also passionate about sharing her knowledge and has become involved with teaching acupuncture at a Neuro-Meridian Acupuncture Program.
Her love for learning and evolving style of treatment, whether it be in acupuncture, manual therapy and exercise is always suited to each patient’s specific needs.
